Partner Terms
These terms govern participation in the Meridian Brief publisher programme — our relationships with affiliate networks, advertisers, and commercial partners across the portfolio.

1. About Meridian Brief
Meridian Brief is an independent digital publishing operation based in the United Kingdom. We operate a portfolio of specialist digital tool and information resource properties across ten domains, including finance, insurance, energy, property, professional services, personal finance, travel, retail, health, and technology.
We participate in affiliate programmes through established affiliate networks including Awin and Webgains, and through direct partnerships with approved advertisers. All commercial relationships are conducted in accordance with the relevant network's operating agreements and applicable UK law.
2. Publisher identity and promotional spaces
Meridian Brief operates as a single publisher entity across all network accounts. Individual portfolio properties are registered as promotional spaces under the Meridian Brief publisher profile. Advertisers may see traffic attributed to Meridian Brief regardless of which specific portfolio property generated the referral, unless sub-ID tracking is in use to differentiate by property.
All portfolio properties are built and operated to the same editorial and technical standard. Advertisers can expect consistent quality, accurate content, and compliant promotional practice across all Meridian Brief properties.
3. Editorial standards and content compliance
Meridian Brief operates with full editorial independence. We do not accept payment to feature, rank, or favour any specific advertiser in our tool outputs or editorial content. Commercial relationships are disclosed at point of use on all properties where they apply.
All content and tool data is verified against publicly available and authoritative sources at the time of publication and reviewed on a quarterly basis. We do not make claims about advertiser products beyond what is verifiable from the advertiser's own materials and programme documentation.
We comply with ASA guidelines, CAP Code requirements, and all applicable FCA financial promotion rules. Properties that introduce users to FCA-regulated products do not provide financial advice, do not handle money, and direct users to regulated firms for regulated activity.
4. Traffic quality and lead standards
Meridian Brief generates traffic exclusively through organic search and direct tool engagement. We do not use paid traffic, incentivised clicks, cookie stuffing, or any practice that artificially inflates click or conversion metrics. All traffic is genuine user-initiated engagement with our tools and content.
Where our tools pre-qualify users before presenting an affiliate link — for example, an eligibility checker that confirms a user meets basic criteria before displaying a product recommendation — this is disclosed in our publisher profile description and available on request.
5. Privacy and data handling
Meridian Brief properties do not collect, store, or process personal data. All tools operate client-side in the user's browser. No user data is transmitted to Meridian Brief servers. Affiliate tracking is operated entirely through the relevant network's tracking infrastructure in accordance with the network's privacy and data processing terms.
Our properties do not use first-party cookies. Third-party tracking initiated by affiliate link clicks is governed by the advertiser's and network's privacy policies. Our privacy policy and affiliate disclosure are present on all properties.
6. Commission and payment
Commission terms are governed by the relevant affiliate network agreement or direct partnership agreement. Meridian Brief does not accept commission arrangements that require exclusivity, minimum traffic guarantees, or upfront fees. We operate on a pure performance basis: commission is earned on tracked, validated conversions in accordance with the advertiser's programme terms.
Meridian Brief reserves the right to remove or replace affiliate links at any time where programme terms change materially, where we have concerns about advertiser quality or customer outcomes, or where a property is retired or substantially rebuilt.
7. Brand usage
Partners and advertisers may reference Meridian Brief by name in the context of confirming a publisher relationship. Use of the Meridian Brief logo, brand assets, or any claim of endorsement or exclusive partnership requires written permission. Contact us at the address below.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate a partnership at any time in accordance with the relevant network's terms. Meridian Brief will remove affiliate links from properties within 30 days of notification of programme closure or partnership termination.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from commercial partnerships with Meridian Brief shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
