Meridian Brief is an independent digital publishing operation. We build specialist web tools and information resources for professional and business audiences — people navigating decisions that matter: financial, operational, regulatory, strategic.
We are not a comparison site network. We are not a content farm. We are not an agency producing work on behalf of clients. Every property in the Meridian Brief portfolio is built and operated by us, for an audience we have chosen to serve.
Why tools
Most online information about complex decisions is written to be read. The problem is that consequential decisions are not primarily informational — they are computational. How much will this cost? Am I eligible for this? What is the real difference between these options given my specific situation?
We build the tools that answer these questions directly. A calculator that takes your inputs. A checker that tells you where you stand. A comparison that maps to your actual circumstances rather than a hypothetical reader.
Information that requires action should be experienced, not just read. That is the principle every site in our portfolio is built around.
Editorial standards
Every tool and resource we publish is built to be genuinely accurate and useful. We update for regulatory changes, review for accuracy, and retire content that cannot be maintained to the standard our audiences require.
We do not publish content designed solely for search engine rankings. We do not inflate complexity to generate page volume. We build the tool a user actually needs, and we build it well.
Where our sites introduce users to third-party products or services, we disclose this clearly. Our editorial approach is not affected by commercial relationships — the tool surfaces the best options for the user, not the most convenient options for us.
How we build
Our properties are built as lightweight, fast-loading static sites. No bloated CMS. No unnecessary tracking. No cookie consent walls where they are not legally required. Pages load in under a second. Tools run in the browser.
We use Cloudflare's infrastructure for hosting and analytics. Our analytics are privacy-respecting by design — we know what pages are being used and from where, and nothing more.
